Brief
This release introduces a new area for SNU Systems, with features such as Open Message, WSKit and more. It also doubles down on kernel stability and performance, with a focus on VMKernel and lower level parts of the stack.
Notes
SNU is way more advanced than NeKernel.org, forked from it, I improved it significantly for professional use. Also keep in mind that SNU is constantly being developed, and this release is just a snapshot of the current state of the product.
What's Next?
SNU is now heading towards the v2.1.0 release, with a focus on further improving stability, performance, and developer experience. Key areas of development include:
- Continued enhancements to the VMKernel and lower-level components.
- Expanding the capabilities of the new package manager, MGet.
- Further integration of the STB firmware and support for additional hardware platforms.
- Ongoing improvements to documentation and developer resources.
- Integration for Open64x0 from NeKernel.org.
- Continued development of BenchKit for other platform benchmarking.
- The PDF Kit for handling PDF files in SNU and other platforms.
- MySNU for account management on our website.
Conclusion
Stay tuned for more updates as SNU progress towards the next release!
