A thing I noticed with software project is the tendency to second-guess previously perfectly working components or software. It happens a lot during a v2. So my advice would be anything that gives you that urge, you should probably stop using it. It's not a good source of truth!
Alternatives:
You better off with what you've already choosen, stick and scale with that, and when warranted, add a new tech to the stack, when its coherent of course! Unless you want to fall into the trap of a software rewrite! :)
